Awkwafina is an American actor and musician from the United States who was first noticed for her clever raps that delved into racial and sexuality with humor that was bold and witty. After that, she branched out into Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants, was her initial musical experience. She was a trumpeter. She also received instruction in jazz and classical before exploring hip-hop in her teenager. At college, she was studying writing and women's studies. Then, she even had one semester studying Mandarin at the University of Beijing. It wasn't until she began focusing on music until after she graduated. After gaining viral fame through the Internet Her song My Vag was a reaction to the song of Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually appeared on her album debut Yellow Ranger. Some other hits that went viral included queef track, and the witty NYC Bitche$ hometown tour. This track was also used in the Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was published in the year 2015. She began pursuing acting career after having completed her two previous ventures as a musician and author. Along with the early TV shows such as Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in movies such as Neighbors in Storks. The actress made headlines in 2018 and appeared in several notable films like Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. Her EP came out, In Fina We Trust in June of the year.
